What gets you out of bed in the morning?
Work usually, but I enjoy waking up and going for a morning run/ walk. It gives me a chance start the day off productively and reflects on my daily goals.
How would you describe your job to a child?
I talk to adults all day to see how I can make their day better. Fix their credit card machines, and inform them about our services .
What does a typical day look like for you and what are you currently working on?
I start my day at Lifetime for a quick workout. I come to work. After the work day is over I come home to my two roommates/ best friends. And we just relax after a long day and have fun.
One thing I am working on right now is learning is the intricacies of Wall Street and how to effectively invest in the stock market. Wall Street has always been fascinating to me and it has always been one of my goals to learn more about
What three words would you use to describe your role?
Helpful, informative, technical
If you could switch jobs with someone, who would it be?
Magic Johnson. He is the President of Basketball Operations for The LA Lakers, and I always thought it would be cool to manage a professional basketball team.
What is on your wish list for your next five years here?
My wish in the next 5 years here would be to grow within the company and be able to use my skills to become a valuable asset to NCMIC.
What are your biggest professional challenges?
My biggest challenge would be just keeping up and adapting with all the changes in technological advancements in the world of finance.
If you could choose anyone, who would you pick as your mentor?
Warren Buffett. Being a small town guy from the Midwest like Warren and being able to build an empire in Berkshire Hathaway to me is inspiring. I feel like I could learn a lot from him.
What do you like most about your job?
I really enjoy the people I work with. To me the people you work with make the job.
What advice would you give to recent new entrants?
Be patient, keep notes, and stay positive.
What's your most memorable face palm moment?
I backed out of my garage and ran directly into the front of my brother’s new car.
When was the last time you laughed so hard you cried?
A few weeks ago, my friends are always joking around and we have so many inside jokes it so it’s a pretty common occurrence.

Trust the process.

I could eat a burger and fries every day.
What’s your favorite NCMIC memory?
My favorite memory of NCMIC was the Patio Party 2016. I was still fairly new to NCMIC, and that was the day I was able to meet and get to know a lot of the great employees here that I have gotten to know very well.
